Task

You work for the card company Eagle Greetings.  Your boss is under pressure and a strict deadline to develop a whole new line of greeting cards for the upcoming season.  He needs you to be on the creative team for this new line.  Your job depends on this project! If you do a great job, you might earn a promotion and a bigger paycheck!   You are to design greeting cards for a variety of audiences and purposes. Your boss also wants to see an example of each of the figurative language elements listed; simile, metaphor, alliteration, personification, onomatopoeia, and imagery. Greeting cards are meant to send a nice thought and message to someone. They include Thank You cards, Congratulations, Happy Birthday, Anniversary, Miss You, Merry Christmas, and many more! A couple of your big competitors that you may want to check out are American Greetings and Hallmark.
